About The ESC

The ESC was formed in 1987 by Brian and Gillian Spreckley, to create a relaxed but efficient organisation for adventurous glider pilots looking for new and interesting soaring sites.

Since then the Club has flown mostly in France, Spain and South Africa offering an excellent club fleet as well as facilities for private owners and organising international competitions and rallies. Both Brian and Gillian have won World Championships titles, and so the guidance is assured to be of the finest quality.
